Attracted by its glitz and glow, I joined the Beauty industry over 10 years ago where I held roles across various functions, including product.

 

To my dismay, over the years, like peeling an onion, I learned more and more about the ingredients being used, their impact (or lack thereof, hello wrinkles!) on our skin and how some companies and brands only focus on driving profits at the expense of our wellness. 

We are told that 1 out of 3 of us will get cancer in our lifetime.

This is simply unacceptable.

I believe in transparency, honesty and the power of decision making

to make better choices

There is a way to play with makeup to enhance our features,

to wear that powerful fragrance that trails off behind you like a veil,

or to transform ourselves for special events...but to

do it in a way that is harmless. 

This is why I created this site - to share with you the

honest, transparent and eye-opening details

I've learned over the past decade.

My only goal is to drive awareness of the ingredients in beauty products

that can cause cancer.

 

Because life is not free and I have bills to pay, like the fees for this website, I will use affiliate links but only to the products that I truly trust and that I wear myself.  This may not be a profitable affair but I just don't want to get to 60 and lose a third of my friends to cancer.
